Уповноважена президента РФ з прав дитини Марія Львова-Бєлова запевняє, що депортованого з Маріуполя українського підлітка Богдана Єрмохіна ніхто виломіць не утримує і він зможе повернутися до родини. Про це вона сказала в інтерв’ю по телефону проєкту Радіо Свобода «Ти як?».

«Його ніхто не утримував… Була зустріч з Богданом (після того, як його затримали на кордоні Росії і Білорусі – ред.), де ми сказали, що ми готові його передати. Але за всіма правилами – з документами, з усім. Тому що хлопчик – неповнолітній, перетинав з незрозумілими людьми кордон. І, звісно що, як відповідальна посадова особа я не могла цього дозволити. Після цього Богдан сказав, що він не хоче нікуди їхати, написав розписку про те, що він хоче залишитися в Росії. Це все задокументовано. Звісно, що насильно це зробити я ніяк не могла. Після цього розпочалася хвиля, що нібито він знову збирається їхати. І, загалом, останні новини такі, що ми зв’язалися з його сестрою, яка повинна приїхати його забрати. Зараз оформлюються документи. Тому що хлопчик – неповнолітній. Ви ж самі прекрасно розумієте, що за всіма правилами вона повинна бути його опікуном. Оскільки Богдан зараз дуже активно хоче повернутися до своєї рідної сестри, ми, звісно, це все підтримуємо і всіляко цьому сприяємо. На сьогодні досягнуто домовленостей зі спрощеного порядку документів з Московською областю. І я дуже сподіваюся, що наступного тижня ця зустріч відбудеться і Богдан поїде додому», – сказала Львова-Бєлова.
За її словами, напередодні відбулася розмова із сестрою хлопця.
«Тепер усе залежить від неї, коли вона зможе приїхати в Москву, але дуже сподіваємося, що це буде наступного тижня», – сказала Львова-Бєлова.
На запитання щодо повістки хлопцеві на службу в армії уповноважена президента РФ з прав дитини сказала, що це винятково слова хлопця.
«По-перше, він є студентом коледжу, це дає відстрочку від армії, і ніяка повістка в армію в принципі, за російським законодавством, йому прийти не може… Як може прийти повістка в армію до повноліття? Ви самі себе чуєте, ні? Поки йому немає 18-ти років, ніяка повістка… у нас діти в армію не призиваються. Жодна повістка прийти не може. Другий момент: він вчиться в коледжі очно, це дає йому відстрочку від армії, ніякої армії до 18 років у нього точно не буде», – зазначила Марія Львова-Бєлова.
Вивезеного до Росії із окупованого Маріуполя у 2022 році та поміщеного під опіку підлітка Богдана Єрмохіна затримали на кордоні з Білоруссю під час спроби повернутися в Україну. Таке повідомлення з’явилося у російських ЗМІ 4 квітня. Про те, що силові структури РФ затримали 17-річного хлопця на кордоні з Білоруссю, коли він намагався повернутися в Україну, заявляла і сама Львова-Бєлова.
Юристка Катерина Бобровська, яка називає себе адвокаткою Єрмохіна в Україні, повідомила проєкту проєкту Радіо Свобода «Ти як?», що хлопець вже декілька разів намагався утекти з РФ, але безуспішно, а виїхати з Росії офіційно він не може – на це немає згоди російських посадовців.
Також адвокатка повідомила, що Богдан отримав повістку, щоб з’явитися у військкомат Московської області. На її думку, хлопця можуть мобілізувати і відправити на війну проти України – як тільки він стане повнолітнім. А виповнюється Богданові 18 років 19 листопада 2023 року.
У Мінреінтеграції України заявляють, що з вимогою повернути Богдана в Україну було направлено чотири офіційні листи. «Прошу міжнародних лідерів допомогти у поверненні нашого хлопця, якого незабаром змусять воювати проти своєї ж країни», – заявила віцепрем’єрка Ірина Верещук.
Російські ЗМІ неодноразово повідомляли про те, що повістки в Росії надходять людям з інвалідністю, зокрема, такий документ отримав незрячий, повістку отримував також 12-річний школяр, її надсилали навіть на адресу померлої дитини.

U.S. Special Counsel David Weiss, who is leading the probe into President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden, told the Republican-led House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday that he faced no political interference, contradicting earlier whistleblower testimony.
Weiss has charged Hunter Biden, 53, with crimes related to owning a firearm while using illegal drugs. The president’s son has said he struggled with addictions to alcohol and crack cocaine.
House Republicans allege the Justice Department improperly interfered with the investigation of Hunter Biden, whose brushes with the law are a central focus of their impeachment inquiry into the president. The White House has denied wrongdoing. Democrats say the impeachment inquiry is politically motivated.
“Throughout this investigation, the career prosecutors on my team and I have made decisions based on the facts and the law,” Weiss said during testimony behind closed doors, according to his prepared remarks. “Political considerations played no part in our decision-making.”
Weiss insists on his authority
Weiss, the first special counsel to testify in Congress before his final report is completed, is pushing back against comments by two Internal Revenue Service whistleblowers who say he told officials at a meeting that he did not have final authority on deciding to bring charges as part of his probe.
Weiss told lawmakers he has had and continues to have full authority over his investigation.
In keeping with Justice Department policy, Weiss would not address specifics about his probe.
“Mr. Weiss reflected on his authorities, but then when we asked about the influences on those authorities – were there emails or meetings where people tried to move him in one direction or another? – he was entirely recalcitrant,” Republican lawmaker Matt Gaetz told reporters.
Democrats participating in the interview sharply criticized it, saying Republicans’ questions were misleading and labeling the meeting a waste of time.
At least 10 current and former officials from the FBI, IRS and Justice Department have testified behind closed doors as part of lawmakers’ probe. Attorney General Merrick Garland also testified before the House Judiciary Committee in a public hearing in September.
Trump cheers inquiry
The impeachment inquiry has been cheered on by Republican former President Donald Trump, who is the frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination to take on Biden again in the 2024 election. Trump is also the first U.S. president to be impeached twice. The Senate acquitted him both times.
Trump is facing four criminal indictments for charges related to his business activities, mishandling of classified documents, and attempt to overturn the 2020 election.
It is not clear if the full House of Representatives, controlled by a narrow 221-212 Republican majority, would support impeaching Biden.
Democratic lawmaker Glenn Ivey said the first hour or so of testimony had mostly centered on letters between Weiss and lawmakers, and noted that the interview was unprecedented.
“The irony is they’re always pushing to prosecute Hunter Biden, but this is the kind of stuff that could derail or cause problems for it,” Ivey told reporters.
Originally nominated during Trump’s administration, Weiss was allowed to remain in place under Biden.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has invited Chinese President Xi Jinping to Canberra after what he called a “positive” landmark summit in Beijing.
Albanese is the first Australian prime minister to visit mainland China since 2016, following years of friction. The Canberra government says his trip to China is an important step in the stabilization of diplomatic relations after various political and trade disputes.
Amid disagreements over various geopolitical issues, including human rights and the origins of COVID-19, Beijing imposed bans and tariffs on a range of Australian imports.
Albanese has sought a less-confrontational approach to China after an election win in May 2022, with the aim of stabilizing relations with Australia’s main trading partner while acknowledging areas of disagreement.
Albanese said his meeting Monday with Chinese President Xi Jinping was “one of goodwill.” He said he raised the case of the Australian writer and democracy activist Yang Hengjun, who has been detained by China for almost five years.
Australian government officials are hopeful that the last remaining Chinese restrictions on the country’s export commodities, including seafood and beef, will be scrapped by the end of the year. China has also said it would undertake a five-month review of duties it imposed on Australian wine.
Albanese told reporters in Beijing that his talks with the Chinese leader were broad.
“I did discuss international issues with President Xi and the importance of stability in the region and open channels of communication,” he said. “We also discussed our bilateral relationship. I raised consular and human rights issues during the meeting as well.”
But opposition Liberal Party Senator Simon Birmingham told the Australian Broadcasting Corp. Tuesday that the Canberra government must remain vigilant about China’s ambitions.
“We have seen Australia’s and other international security chiefs provide new warnings about the extent of Chinese cyber espionage,” he said. “We have seen the Chinese navy undertake aggressive action against the Philippines in the South China Sea. Whilst this visit might be positive, the Albanese government [must] not get any rose-colored glasses about the challenges that are there as well.”
China accounts for about a third of Australia’s global trade. Analysts say that China is highly dependent on Australian raw materials, including iron ore and liquefied natural gas, to help build its economy.
Albanese has invited Xi to visit Australia in the near future, while the Chinese president also asked the Australian prime minister to return to China and visit other parts of his country.

У Херсонській обласній військовій адміністрації повідомили, що у понеділок війська РФ вчергове атакували регіон, є поранені.
«Російська армія вкрила вогнем підприємство у Зеленівці Херсонської громади. Постраждали троє людей. Двох потерпілих доставили до лікарні. Зараз медики надають їм допомогу. Внаслідок обстрілу 44-річний чоловік втратив частину ноги. Його стан оцінюють як середньої тяжкості. У 74-річного місцевого жителя – мінно-вибухова травма.
